Aftercare Instructions for Tattoos and Piercings

Tattoo Aftercare
Wash tattoo a few times per day with antibacterial soap and pat dry. Apply a thin layer of Aquaphor or A&D ointment. Only a thin layer is needed, just enough to make it shiny. Do not overuse ointment. After the tattoo is done peeling, use unscented lotion a few times per day.
Piercing Aftercare
Do not touch your fresh piercing. Do not twist or move the jewelry during the healing process. Clean fresh piercing two to three times per day with saline spray. A sea salt solution of 1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon of non-iodized sea salt mixed with one cup of distilled or purified water is also acceptable. If swelling or bruising occurs, ice and ibuprofen can be used.
Oral Piercing Aftercare
Do not touch, rotate, or move your fresh piercing. Use alcohol-free mouthwash after eating, drinking, or smoking. Limit your intake of dairy and food containing yeast for the first few weeks.
Acceptable Forms of Identification
EVERYONE regardless of age is required to have identification before any new service. Returning clients need ID every visit.
Clients 18+ : State issued ID, passport, or birth certificate with photo ID.
Clients under 18:
Option 1: State ID of Minor and Parent/Guardian. Last names must match, if last names are different a copy of the birth certificate is required.
Option 2: School ID, Parent/Guardian ID, and Birth certificate.
Client under 18 for Lobes ONLY: Birth certificate and Parent/Guardian ID
If a legal guardian (not a parent) is signing for a minor, judge signed court documents must be provided to prove guardianship.
